Tom Brady and Gisele purchased a plot of land in Brentwood, Calif. for $11 million in 2008. Three years after construction began, the mansion is finally complete, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The house is valued at $20 million, is 22,000 square feet, and has eight bedrooms. Some of its features include a pool, a playground for the children, a weight room, a wine cellar, and a moat. Gisele and Tom's neighbors include Heidi Klum and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Brady sold two of his other properties in 2011; a condo on NYC's Upper West Side for $18 million, and a condo in Boston for $10.5 million.

When you’re a world-famous fashion model, your face is your fortune. Odd then, that Gisele Bündchen’s new campaign doesn’t feature hers.

In her latest assignment for cult New York label BLK DNM, the Super lets her pert posterior do the talking in a pair of the label’s jeans. She follows in the footsteps of Caroline de Maigret and Stella Schnabel, who have both leant their behinds to the brand for past 'Wild Poster' campaigns.

The image is part of the brand’s ‘guerilla’ advertising technique which sees them plaster posters around downtown Manhattan each season. Accompanying the central shot is a series of black-and-white portraits of a topless, contorted Gisele, shot by the BLK DNM’s creative director Johan Lindeberg, in which she wears no make-up, no hairstyle and is entirely untouched by the airbrush.

“I’m a massive feminist. I’m the one who thinks that women should take over completely,” Lindberg told WWD at the unveiling of the campaign last night. “I’m anti-retouching and [anti-] plastic surgery. I think a woman is beautiful how she is."

Ever the earth mother, Gisele was totally on board with the au naturel idea. “I really had so much fun,” Bündchen told Styleite .“Because I feel like it’s so rare that you get to really express yourself the way you want to express yourself. Because you know, I’m a model, so you do whatever the designer wants. There’s a whole idea behind it. And here it was just about not looking perfect, but about looking real and authentic - no hair, no retouching — just going through what you feel.”

It’s been good six months for the Brazilian beauty so far; not only has she scored a Chanel and H&M campaign, she’s welcomed her second child, daughter Vivian, and been named the most powerful model in the world for the second year running.

Gisele and Tom Brady went to Disneyland yesterday.

E! has a full report of the day.

The thing that caught our eye was this Instagram photo that Gisele posted last night.

Four observations:

1. Without fail, people look like idiots in these Disneyland ride photos. It's the whole appeal of the thing. You're even a little disappointed if you get off a ride, look up at the TV screen displaying your car's photo, and find that you aren't making a funny face at all. But Gisele, obviously, looks perfect.

2. Somewhere in the world, there are now a handful of people who have photos of themselves looking awkward on a Disney ride while Gisele and Tom Brady sit right next to them. This little kid in the back, for instance, will keep the photo for decades, until he is an old man with several small grandchildren of his own. And those grandchildren will ask him why he has this cheap and faded photo in his house, and he will explain all about Gisele and Tom, and how they used to be famous.

3. What's up with this eye?

4. Our best guess is that Gisele cropped out Tom because their two children were sitting directly to his right, and she didn't want to post public photos of her kids looking frightened — a rational and understandable decision. But our second guess, that he was the frightened one, is the more interesting theory — one that grows stronger the longer you stare at his pixelated face and try to decipher what exactly is at the bottom of his expression.

Gisele Bündchen was just named the highest-paid supermodel by Forbes. 

Bündchen, known in the industry as simply "Gisele," has held the title for the past seven years. 

She earned a stunning $42 million last year. That's way ahead of second highest-paid model Miranda Kerr, who raked in $7.2 million. 

But before she was a one-woman empire, Gisele was an awkward teenager in Brazil with modest aspirations. 

We chronicled how she broke into the scene and became a legend. 

Gisele was born in Brazil, but her parents are of German descent. Here she's pictured (center) with her fraternal twin, Patricia, and another sister, Gabi.

First, a caveat: Anyone expecting the home of supermodel Gisele Bündchen and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to be a lavish pleasure dome replete with sultry sirens and gridiron gods cavorting around the pool is in for a serious letdown.

Likewise, those who imagine a sprawling palace staffed with a battalion of liveried footmen proffering protein shakes on silver trays have also missed the mark. The reality of Bündchen and Brady’s life in Los Angeles’s Brentwood neighborhood is far more—dare we say it?—normal.

“I like simplicity and coziness,” says the renowned Brazilian beauty. “I want to live in a place that feels like a real home, where you can put your feet up on the couch and just relax.” Brady seconds the notion: “Gisele and I have eight sisters between us, and there are lots of kids. We built this house as a sanctuary for our family—a place where we can enjoy being together.”

The couple’s L.A. story began roughly six years ago, when Bündchen and Brady started making regular excursions to the sunny shores of Southern California during the NFL off-season. On one of those trips, prior to their marriage in 2009, they discovered an open lot with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean near the house they were renting. They immediately knew the patch of land would one day be home.

“It was important for us to plant roots for our family, and since we both enjoy the creative process, we decided to start from scratch,” Brady recalls. (The couple has a three-year-old son, Benjamin, and a baby daughter, Vivian Lake, along with six-year-old John, Brady’s son from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.)

To help refine their vision of domestic bliss, the pair engaged architect Richard Landry and one of his frequent collaborators, interior designer Joan Behnke. “I’m all about team dynamics and putting the right people together,” says the future Hall of Famer and owner of three Super Bowl rings. “We knew Richard and Joan could take us where we wanted to go without imposing a signature look. They understood that we wanted a comfortable house, not a style statement.”

For Bündchen and Brady living well also means living responsibly. Bündchen is a global ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme, and the couple is acutely aware of issues related to the conservation of natural resources. One of their primary imperatives when building their home was to use as many recycled components as possible and to implement energy and water systems that would ameliorate the family’s impact on the land.

In addition to composting, gray-water technology for irrigation, and environmentally friendly construction materials, the pair installed two substantial arrays of photovoltaic solar panels (one next to the garden, the other on the roof of the house) that would meet all of the property’s electricity needs. “From the beginning we asked everyone involved in the design and construction, ‘How can we make it as sustainable as possible?’” Bündchen says.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her New England Patriots quarterback hubby Tom Brady have bought a $14 million nest in the Related Companies and HFZ Capital’s One Madison (formerly One Madison Park).

The couple are in contract for a three-bedroom, full-floor condominium on the 47th floor of the East 22nd Street tower, the New York Post reported. The listing touts a stunning view up Madison Avenue, the paper said.

“It will allow Tom Brady to look down on Gotham like Batman,” a source quipped to the Post.

The apartment, designed by Danish architect Thomas Juul-Hansen, also sports oak plank floors and oversize doors, as well as a master bathroom with a soaking tub, the Post said.

One Madison has attracted attention from the likes of supermodel Kate Upton and designer Vera Wang, who recently checked out the building’s $50 million penthouse. [NYP] – Hiten Samtani

Costa Rica judge sentences 2 bodyguards at Bundchen-Brady wedding to prison

PUNTARENAS, Costa Rica (AP) — A Costa Rican judge has sentenced two bodyguards to five years in prison for shooting at two photographers during the 2009 wedding of Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen and NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

The photographers' lawyer, Victor Herrera, says a judge also sentenced the bodyguards to each pay a $10,000 fine. A third bodyguard was cleared of all charges.

Herrera said the trial came to an end late Friday in the coastal city of Puntarenas. No one answered at the court Friday.

The two photographers allege that three of the celebrity couple's bodyguards at the time shot at them after they took pictures of the wedding from a nearby property. They were not injured.

Bundchen and Brady weren't involved in the case.

Yesterday, supermodel Gisele Bundchen posted this controversial Instagram selfie:

But it's not the fact that Mrs. Tom Brady is openly breastfeeding that has people up in arms (well, mostly not) — it's the fact that the supermodel hashtagged the photo "#multitasking" when she is sitting there letting a glam squad do the heavy lifting.

The full caption on the photo read:

"What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep #multitasking#gettingready"

While some, like actress Emmy Rossum, found the photo funny and spoofed the model's "having it all" image...

Most people, especially moms, are not happy.

Denise Albert of TheMoms.com was on "Good Morning America" this morning and called the shot "obnoxious" and "outrageous."

"Today" show correspondent and mother of two, Natalie Morales, argued on this morning's show: "That's not multitasking! She's being multitasked upon."

To be fair, many moms defended Gisele as well. Here are some of their comments:

Emily Borne: I think it a beautiful picture. She is Breastfeeding while doing her job. She gets paid to look beautiful and she does it perfectly.

Teri Hoben: Dude Leave her alone. She's taking care of her daughter while working. Great positive image.

Amber Kaiser: The issue here is that motherhood is a thankless job. We don't get the recognition, praise or kudos we deserve for being super in our everyday lives. Perhaps for her, this is multitasking, and in her world it may be difficult to do so. It's all relative. She's taking care of her child and as mothers no one can fault her for that.

But Gisele has never been one to be shy about her opinions on breastfeeding.

"Some people here (in the U.S.) think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'" she told Harper's Bazaar UK in 2010 after having her son, Benjamin. "I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."

The comments created controversy, considering not all women are physically able to breastfeed and about half of new moms stop breast feeding shortly after their baby is born due to a number of circumstances.

Miranda Kerr has replaced Gisele Bündchen as the face of H&M. 

The brand announced the new partnership on Facebook, along with a stunning shot of Kerr. 

The prominent gig illustrates that Kerr's career is thriving almost a year after her public split with Victoria's Secret. 

At the time, Kerr was rumored to have a "difficult" reputation that turned off the brand that contributed to the end of her Angel contract.  

She was also noticeably absent from this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. 

But Kerr has lucrative contracts with Swarovski, ShopStyle, Clean Hair Care, and Qantas Airlines. 

With earnings of $7.2 million, she was the second highest-paid model last year, coming only behind Bündchen, according to Forbes.

No one wants to come to the attention of the IRS.

Of course, most of us might end up on its radar through some suspect tax deductions or filing errors— not because a major publication announced our estimated salary to the world.

In the case of Gisele Bundchen — international super model, wife of Tom Brady, and commissioner of gargantuan mansions— that may be exactly what happened.

Bundchen wasn't exactly thrilled to spend seven years on the 2013 Forbes report of the world's highest-paid models, which again named her as number one in 2013 with $42 million in earnings. 

"I have been audited in the U.S. because of the Forbes list,"she told Brazilian publication MdeMulher in an interview translated from Portuguese by Vogue. "And frankly, whether or not I'm in this ranking, I do not care." 

Unsurprisingly, she didn't confirm the salary that put her at the top of the list. "It's sad, because the people who write these things don't have my bank account details," Bundchen said. "I do OK, I earn plenty, but not as much as they say."

Dr. Dre is closing a deal on the custom California estate that Tom Brady and Gisele built, according to Page Six.

The purchase price is unclear, but the Brentwood house was listed for $50 million.

The couple bought the land in 2009 and built the 14,000-square-foot five-bedroom home from scratch.

It has an infinity pool with a view of the Pacific Ocean, a gym, an outdoor kitchen, and a moat.

Dr. Dre has purchased the Brentwood, California mansion belonging to Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Beats co-founder spent $40 million on the four-acre estate.

The five-bedroom home was originally listed for $50 million. Brady and Bundchen purchased the property in 2009 and built the 14,000-square-foot mansion from scratch. 

Highlights include a moat, sweeping terraces, and an infinity pool with views of the Pacific Ocean.

Apple announced late last month that it would buy Dr. Dre's company, Beats Electronics, for $3 billion. He's worth a reported $800 million after the deal. 

While news of Dre buying the mansion broke before the Apple-Beats deal became official, we can't help but think the new pad was a celebratory purchase.

In a new Under Armor ad, despite being told she should stick to modeling or she's too skinny or she's nothing special or she's fake, Gisele Bundchen, in boxer training gear, defies all odds and kicks a punching bag while detractors' (and supporters') tweets are projected on the walls around her.

The ad, which follows a similar one created with Misty Copeland, breaks today and was created by Droga5.

Of the creative direction, Droga5 Creative Director John McKelvey said,"We wanted to show a new side of Gisele, the unguarded, raw, real and brave side that shows what its like living in the public eye.

To the world, most people have only seen her in a context of beauty and polish. But when we came to Gisele with the idea, she embraced the truth of the concept and its potential to be a positive message. The campaign shows all the contradicting opinions she is constantly exposed to and the focus and determination it takes to tune out the noise and will what she wants."

The ad, which carries the campaign tagline "I Will What I Want," masterfully delivers the message that anyone can be anything they want and those who believe otherwise are disrespectful losers or, in this case, useless social media trolls.

Tom Brady publicly posted a photo of his post-college resume on Thursday, showing the world just how close he came to working a normal job.

It's easy to forgot how unlikely Brady's rise to the top of the American sports pyramid really was. He was taken in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft, 199th overall.

Now he's the NFL's biggest celebrity with massive endorsement deals, a wildly successful significant other, and the ability to build $40-million mansions from scratch as a side job.
